DUTIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating console to relay incoming calls and in house pages. Monitoring alarms and other equipment. Functioning as communications center during emergencies. Performing clerical duties and minor telephone repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Rolm console experience or similar switchboard/telephone experience. Experience dealing with the public.
Must be able to type 35 wpm. Computer and word processing experience required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to learn new technological equipment and services and incorporate into job. Pleasant telephone manner and speaking voice.
Good front desk, reception, and telephone skills. Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Be available to cover other shifts as needed.
