Job Description

RailPros provides diversified engineering and safety services to the railroad and transit industries. RailPros has significant business relationships nation-wide with the Class 1’s, Commuter Agencies and Short Lines. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager at our Grapevine, TX headquarters to join our team.

Principles and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources the HR Manager will provide staffing and on-boarding, employee relations, training, benefits and other generalist support throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience supervising/evaluating staff
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated success and skills in multi-state HR administration.
  • Strong employee relations skills including conducting investigations and coaching of front-line supervisors on related issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, and organizations.
  • PC with Microsoft applications knowledge is required.
  • Experience with prevailing wage payroll helpful
  • Occasional travel up to 20% also is required.
