The Opportunity:
You’re ready to lead the collaborative effort to provide the best transportation experience for our executive riders. As part of the Car Program, the Operations Manager will lead and support all aspects of daily transportation operations for the chauffeur and dispatch teams. This candidate will ensure the drivers are providing safe, timely, confidential transportation services to the Netflix executive team. Our purpose is to create a consistently outstanding experience which assures the highest level of safety, discretion and confidentiality, allowing our executives to focus on connecting our millions of subscribers across 190 countries to the content they love.

  • Primary responsibilities are to monitor, support and enhance the daily operations of a professional team of chauffeurs and dispatchers who provide on-time, courteous and safe transportation for Netflix executives.
  • Provide support in program management tasks, these can include hiring, coaching, training and performance management.
  • Ensure all driver, dispatch and program operations standards are met.
  • Closely collaborate with dispatch team and assist in implementing innovative dispatch and vehicle tracking/monitoring tools and processes.
  • Coach team members to strict confidentiality standards regarding confidential conversations of passengers.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with daily driver vehicle inspections, safety procedures and other training requirements.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance program, ensure fleet service and safety standards are maintained.
  • Conduct regular on-road driver assessments, observing and coaching safe driving methods.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager in developing communication strategies to engage end users and encourage the use of program resources.
  • Assist in training of new Netflix executives on operations of car program and potential associated tax implications.
  • Monitor metrics, dashboards, and proactively analyze data to anticipate trends and make strategic interventions to optimize services.
  • Provide financial oversight including the monitoring of monthly operational costs.
  • Investigate, resolve and/or escalate customer service issues, as appropriate.

Recommended Skills:

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years in Transportation/Operations Management.
  • You can work with ambiguous requirements and take smart risks to improve productivity.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to partner with cross functional teams for alignment.
  • You can prioritize and drive projects to the finish line.
  • You have strong people/program management skills.
  • Experience navigating in a fast paced, high velocity environment.
  • Able to maintain flexibility in challenging situations.
  • Ability to thrive in team-oriented environment.
  • Concierge level customer service experience.
  • LA Chauffeur or similar experience a plus.
