Founded in 1976 and headquartered in France, Nicomatic is a global designer and manufacturer of electronic connectors used in a broad range of industries and applications. Nicomatic connectors carry power, information and video between printed circuit boards and cable assemblies in products like airplanes, weapon systems, appliances and UAVs (drones). Nicomatic is currently seeking a full-time remotely-based Business Development Manager to join our team.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Several other duties related to the operation may be assigned as needed daily, and core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Define and implement a strategic plan to penetrate target market in assigned region which includes:
  • Increase revenue within the target market (military, aerospace, medical) through implementation of Nicomatic products and services into new customer projects.
  • Increase the number of customers in the region.
  • Expand number of projects and product mix at existing customer base.
  • Support of existing customer base as needed.
  • Enhance brand awareness of Nicomatic in target market in assigned region.

Travel Requirements:
Both domestic and international travel is required 50-75%.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates/College degree preferred and/or equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of B2B sales and successful sales growth.
  • Motivated to help a lesser known company become well-known inside target customers through implementation of Nicomatic product in military/aerospace markets.
  • Willing to work hard, travel frequently, get creative to bring in revenue in the target market.
  • Technical aptitude (engineer not required).
  • Previous experience working for a manufacturing company.
  • Previous experience working in Aerospace or Military/Defense industries is a major plus.
  • Understanding of connectors is a major plus; as well as electronic systems/equipment/components.
