New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the department of Medicine – Tuberculosis Center within the New Jersey Medical School. Under the direction of the Medical Director and in accordance with professional nursing standards, the Licensed Practical Nurse skillfully administers total patient care based on the individual needs of persons with tuberculosis and their families. Interacts in a collaborative fashion, with the Lattimore Clinic Medical Director, the Nurse Manager, other nursing staff, and field staff to participate in TB training programs and research with the Global Tuberculosis Institute and with the NJ Department of Health.
