Currently recruiting for a Asset Protection Associate 2 for our Charleston, SC operation.

JOB SUMMARY: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:

  • Maintain Visitor and Employee sign-in sheet and badges (Inside)
  • Maintain Equipment Seal Discrepancy Log and File (Outside/Gate)
  • Inspect monthly facility Fire Extinguishers (Inside)
  • Inspect monthly emergency exit doors (Inside)
  • CTPAT Awareness Training (All)
  • Maintain and file daily Equipment Checklist (Inside)
  • Maintain inventory and Check in/out RF and Handheld devices (Inside)
  • Monitor facility welcome center and regulate facility access and egress of authorized pedestrian and vehicle traffic
  • Review scheduled appointments with Appointment Schedule and system
  • Entering/Logging out - all equipment into YMS
  • Perform daily yard check on all equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area is maintained
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met
  • Follows general safety procedures and policies while performing daily tasks.
  • Follows company policies and procedures
  • Interacts with varying levels of management and departments and communicates any known issues and explains results
  • Responds to internal and external communication requests via e-mail
  • Performs job related duties as specified by management and assist other associates as needed
  • Supports the company’s commitment to Integrated Management Systems (IMS)


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience as an asset protection clerk a plus
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen
  • Excellent time management skills to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to cultural changes, development and participate in community outreach opportunities

COMMUNICATION & OFFICE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. The ability to operate office machinery is required, as well as to effectively operate on the computer systems and all required customer systems as well necessary personal computer programs.
