Payroll Manager 

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing domestic and international payroll including preparing payroll journal entries, reviewing and approving timekeeping records, as well as supporting internal and external audits. The Payroll Manager proactively seeks to improve accuracy of the underlying payroll records and improve operational inefficiencies. As Accounts Payable Manager you will support growth and operational aspects of the Accounts Payable processes 


  • Process domestic semi-monthly payrolls and related taxes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Implement and migrate to a new payroll and timekeeping tracking system
  • Setting up and managing payroll in new countries, providing inputs to international payroll service providers, reviewing and approving international payrolls
  • Answer employee payroll questions and ensuring timely payment of payroll and related taxes
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll and benefit transactions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Manage time effectively, multi-task, and can work under tight deadlines
  • Leading accounts payable team to simultaneously support business growth & generate efficiencies.
  • Manage payables to optimize vendor discounts and other reimbursements
  • Serve as "go-to" expert for Procurement and Accounts Payable teams regarding W-9 and 1099 questions
  • Assist any internal and external audits as necessary
  • Provide general and ad hoc project support as needed

  • 8+ years of accounting work experience at a high-growth tech company
  • Background working in a high-growth company and scaling Payroll & AP processes in a fast paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax rules and regulations in the US
  • Strong project management and payroll system implementation skills
  • Knowledge of Zuman and Netsuite a plus

  • Bachelors degree
